Service Description
Jewellery in a Day is the perfect choice for beginners and those looking to create a finished piece of jewellery in a day. Materials include sterling silver, a selection of gemstones, and lots of inspiration! These workshops typically last 4 hours or up to 5 hours for larger groups and are run from our designated jewellery studio, Orchard Jewellery Workshop, in Kingswood, Bristol. • ALL ABILITIES Jewellery in a Day is suitable for all abilities and is designed to enable you to create a finished piece of jewellery in a single workshop. Based on your interests and abilities, advice and inspiration will be given on the day. A selection of rings, pendants, earrings, and charms will be available for you to choose from. Feel free to bring your own inspiration and design ideas. If you wish to make or learn something specific, don't hesitate to contact Kim before booking for advice about whether it will be achievable. • BOOK WITH A FRIEND Jewellery in a Day can be booked with friends and family! For the best results, you will choose the same basic technique that inspires you most, such as ring-making or bezel setting. Advice and inspiration will be provided on the day. Jewellery to be proud of and new skills to boost your confidence! • LOTS OF INSPIRATION You don't need to know what you want to make in advance. The studio has lots of sample pieces and inspirational images to help you create your own designs. Cancellation Policy
Private Tuition - Terms of Booking. By booking a workshop with Make it with Kim, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following Private Tuition Terms of Booking. If you have questions about the following terms or any other 'Make it with Kim' matter, please contact Kim at hi@makeit.kim or 07734 805 250. Kim's classes are in demand, and places are limited. If you cancel more than 14 days in advance, you will receive a full refund (minus any specialist materials bought specifically for your tuition session). Where possible, Kim will facilitate an 'exchange' by offering you an alternative date for the tuition you booked. If you cancel within 14 days of the tuition start date, you will receive a 50% refund (minus any specialist materials bought specifically for your tuition session). With prior arrangements with Kim, sending someone to your session in your place is usually possible. If you do not turn up on the day for a course you booked, no refund will be given. Occasionally, for unforeseen circumstances, Kim may need to cancel a course at short notice. Should this happen, she will offer you some alternative dates. If these do not suit, a full refund will be provided. Kim can not be held liable for any costs incurred, such as travel or accommodation.
