Description
Join Gen at Orchard Jewellery Workshop, Kingswood, and create a beautiful piece of jewellery from beachcombing treasures!
If you are new to jewellery making, you will be able to make your own, unique pendant or simple ring from a piece of sea glass, beach pebble or ceramic.
If you have some jewellery-making experience, you can concentrate on the bezel setting technique to turn it into a piece of jewellery of your choice.
This workshop is suitable for all abilities, including absolute beginners, but if you have any questions or want to make sure this is the creative session for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via the contact details at the bottom of this event listing.
Our regular Group workshops are open to anyone age 16+. Looking for workshops for younger participants? Check out our Private Tuition sessions.
Materials
The ticket price for this workshop includes the use of all the tools needed, as well as the materials required to make a solid sterling silver pendant or simple ring, set with a piece of sea glass or similar, using fine silver bezel strip. You will have the opportunity to add a range of textures and finishes, such as high shine, matt satin or rustic oxidised.
A large selection of sea glass and beach finds will be provided, inclusive of the course cost. Please feel free to bring your own beach treasures, and the tutor can advise on their suitability on the day.
Participants may have the option to pay extra on the day if they wish to make something particularly large or with additional stones, depending on time.

Refreshments
A good selection of biscuits, teas & coffees, dairy milk & oat milk are provided. The studio has a small kitchen, including a fridge, microwave, toastie machine, and crockery, which are available should you want to bring your own lunch. If you have any dietary requirements, please contact us before booking to ensure these can be accommodated.
