About The Event
Jewellery Tools & Supplies - Second Hand Sale & Swap
Join us for a vibrant, creative community event at Orchard Jewellery Workshop! Whether you're a seasoned jewellery maker or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity to declutter your stash, find new treasures, and connect with fellow creatives.
We will be raising money for the Bristol charity, 91 Ways in honour of talented, local jeweller and community leader, Dee Smart who sadly passed away four months ago. Dee had a love for enameling and jewellery making and we wish to help others embrace that passion, with all proceeds from the sale of her tools going to a charity that was extremely close to her heart. 91 Ways celebrates the 91+ languages spoken here in Bristol, using the transformative power of food to build stronger, healthier, more connected communities.
Community is vital in all walks of life, and we’re excited to bring together our own creative community to celebrate all things jewellery. Join us on Sunday 10th May as we share tools, skills and connections in an inspiring and supportive environment.

Buy, Sell, Swap & Trade: Tools, gemstones, beads, materials, books, and craft supplies.
De-Stash & Refresh: Clear out your underused supplies and give them a new home or find new bargains.
Community & Inspiration: Share tips, ask questions, and meet like-minded makers.
Meet Andrew & Louise Berry: Andrew and Louise from At The Bench will be in The Studio
with a selection of new jewellery tools and supplies as well as Andrews new book, Jewellery Repairs At The Bench 15% of their tool and supply sales (excluding books and silver) will be donated to Bristol charity, 91 Ways.

Want to expand your collection without spending a fortune?
Interested in swapping your own supplies or selling pre-loved items?
Bring your items and find a bargain! Many sellers accept card and online payments, but it’s also good to bring cash.
Selling & Stall Setup:
Cost: Free! Donations to the charity, 91 Ways are appreciated.
Setup: Please contact Kim via email at hi@makeit.kim to reserve your space, discuss your setup, pricing, and payment processing methods.
Items Accepted: Second hand or unused jewellery tools, other hand tools and craft supplies, gemstones, materials, books, and relevant resources. Bringing a jeweller’s bench or other large item? Email hi@makeit.kim to arrange drop off. Are you a jewellery supplies business/gemstone merchant? Contact hi@makeit.kim to discuss commission rates to trade at our sale.

Important Info:
Children & Dogs: Children are welcome, but please supervise closely. Tools can be sharp, and we can not be held liable for misuse. Friendly dogs on short leads are welcome within the workshop and estate.
Parking: Free on-site parking available, with unrestricted street parking nearby. Disabled parking is accessible near the entrance. Contact Kim at hi@makeit.kim if you'd like closer access during setup.
