Come and join Lottie at Orchard Jewellery Workshop and create your own, stunning solid sterling silver charm pendant or bracelet. In this half-day session, you'll receive expert guidance in a welcoming and friendly environment, to hand stamp your silver charm or use a miniature hydraulic press. You can choose to use shot plates (hardened steel plates with intricate designs) or letter and number stamps to personalise your charm.

MaterialsThe ticket price includes all the necessary tools and materials to create your solid sterling pendant, and a chain will also be provided. You'll have the chance to choose from a variety of textures and finishes, including high shine, matte satin, or rustic oxidised. You will be able to create at least one charm and potentially up to 3 charms to add to your necklace or bracelet. Additional chains will be available to purchase for those who wish.
Agenda
Our Sterling Silver Charm Pendant workshops are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable, offering you the opportunity to:
- Experiment with shot plates and stamping silver designs
- Learn to safely use essential tools
- Discover how to solder jewellery with a blowtorch
- Plus, there will be plenty of time for questions and answers throughout the session!
Refreshments
A good selection of biscuits, teas & coffees, dairy milk & oat milk and squash are provided. The studio has a small kitchen, including a fridge, microwave, toastie machine, and crockery, which are available should you want to bring your own lunch. If you have any dietary requirements, please contact us before booking to ensure these can be accommodated. The White Elephant Café, a few minutes away, serves coffee and refreshments from Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
About the host
Lottie from Foraged Smith is a jeweller and metal worker based in Bristol and Resident Tutor here at Orchard Jewellery Workshop. Outside of the workshop, you’ll find Lottie also teaching welding, creating her own metal work and jewellery or selling her products at local markets.

Transport
Orchard Workshop has free parking and is a few minutes walk from Kingswood Highstreet, which offers multiple bus services.
Arrival:
- Free parking is available at The Kingswood Estate, and on-street parking is nearby. If this is your first visit to Orchard Workshop, please read the full directions, as finding the studio can be tricky.
- Parking may be limited during peak times, so we recommend arriving early. If you arrive more than 15 minutes early, please note that Orchard Workshop and the access gate may be locked.
- The White Elephant Café serves coffee and refreshments from Monday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Cancellations & Refunds
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone this workshop. In unforeseeable circumstances like extreme weather, we will give as much notice as possible. If the event is cancelled or postponed due to low ticket sales, we will give at least 5 days' notice.
In either case, anyone who has purchased a workshop will be offered a full refund and/or a ticket to a future event.
