Come and join Gen at Orchard Jewellery Workshop to create a beautiful set of three stacking rings. In this full-day session, you can make three individual rings to wear as a stacking set. You will be given expert guidance to create your own unique rings using traditional goldsmithing techniques in our friendly workshop.
This Stacking Rings workshop is suitable for all abilities, including absolute beginners, but if you have any questions or want to make sure this is the creative session for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via the contact details at the bottom of this event listing.

Materials
The ticket price for this workshop includes the use of all the tools needed, as well as the materials required to make up to three solid sterling silver rings, or copper, golden brass or rosey bronze if you prefer. You will have the opportunity to add a range of textures and finishes, such as high shine, matt satin or rustic oxidised, as well as the option to embellish one of your ring bands with a gemstone or other decorative touch.
Agenda
Our Stacking Ring workshops are relaxed, friendly sessions where you will have the chance to:
- Try out a range of texturing techniques
- Learn how to use the tools required, safely
- Learn how to size and form your rings accurately
- Learn how to solder jewellery with a blowtorch
- Choose whether to add a gemstone cabochon setting
- There is also plenty of time for Q&A
Refreshments
A good selection of biscuits, teas & coffees, dairy milk & oat milk are provided. The studio has a small kitchen, including a fridge, microwave, toastie machine, and crockery, which are available should you want to bring your own lunch. If you have any dietary requirements, please contact us before booking to ensure these can be accommodated. The White Elephant Café, a few minutes away, serves coffee and refreshments from Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
About the host
Gen from Gennywren Silver is a jeweller based in Bristol and Resident Tutor here at Orchard Jewellery Workshop. Outside of running expert workshops here, you’ll find Gen in her studio creating her own original jewellery pieces.

Transport
Orchard Workshop has free parking and is a few minutes walk from Kingswood Highstreet, which offers multiple bus services.
Arrival:
- Free parking is available at The Kingswood Estate, and on-street parking is nearby. If this is your first visit to Orchard Workshop, please read the full directions, as finding the studio can be tricky.
- Parking may be limited during peak times, so we recommend arriving early. If you arrive more than 15 minutes early, please note that Orchard Workshop and the access gate may be locked.
- The White Elephant Café serves coffee and refreshments from Monday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Cancellations & Refunds
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone this workshop. In unforeseeable circumstances like extreme weather, we will give as much notice as possible. If the event is cancelled or postponed due to low ticket sales, we will give at least 5 days' notice.
In either case, anyone who has purchased a workshop will be offered a full refund and/or a ticket to a future event.
